<p><strong>Jaipur News:</strong> On Tuesday, Punjab Police took the accused involved in a plot to carry out blasts in Delhi and Gwalior by Independence Day to the Behram area of Punjab to recover weapons. All the accused were arrested on Sunday by Rajasthan&#8217;s Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) from Jaipur and Niwai in Tonk. On Tuesday morning, Sonu alias Kali Chir, one of the accused in the grenade blast in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, pointed a pistol at the Punjab Police. In retaliation, police shot the accused in the leg. The injured Sonu was admitted to hospital.</p>



<p>Following this, a grenade, pistol and magazine were recovered on Sonu&#8217;s indication. According to the Punjab Police, the six arrested accused, including three minors, were in contact with the Pakistan-based ISI-backed terrorist organisation, Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Bribery for Blasts</h2>



<p>Zeeshan Akhtar, a handler based in Canada, had promised the accused ₹5.5 lakh for carrying out grenade blasts in Punjab. After the incident, the money was not paid, and it was stated that for carrying out blasts in Delhi and Gwalior, a further ₹5.5 lakh would be transferred to each account, totalling ₹10.10 lakh.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rajasthan AGTF Team in Punjab; Further Investigation in Rajasthan</h2>



<p>A team led by Inspector Ram Singh of the Rajasthan AGTF arrived in Punjab on Tuesday. No case was registered against the accused arrested in Jaipur and Niwai in Rajasthan, but the team is now gathering information about their contacts in Rajasthan. Meanwhile, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav has posted about the entire matter on social media platform X, mentioning the Rajasthan Police&#8217;s involvement.</p>

<p>Dausa Road Accident: A horrific road accident in Dausa district, Rajasthan, early Wednesday morning, claimed the lives of 11 pilgrims. Twelve others sustained serious injuries, nine of whom were referred from Dausa District Hospital to Jaipur. The remaining three injured are receiving treatment in Dausa.</p>



<p>According to police, the accident occurred around 3 am near the Basdi bypass bridge on the Dausa-Manoharpur highway. A pickup truck carrying pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh (UP), returning after visiting Khatushyamji, collided with a container parked outside a hotel. Ten people in the pickup truck died at the scene. A woman succumbed to her injuries later during treatment at Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">9 Seriously Injured Referred to Jaipur</h2>



<p>Of the 12 injured, nine were referred to Jaipur. One woman among them died during treatment at Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur. The other three injured are receiving treatment at Dausa District Hospital. District Collector Devendra Kumar and SP Sagar Rana arrived at the scene upon receiving news of the incident and enquired about the well-being of the injured.</p>

<p>The pickup truck passengers were travelling from Khatushyamji to Asroli in Eta, Uttar Pradesh. The horrific road accident occurred near the Basdi bypass bridge on the Dausa-Manoharpur highway. Seven children and three women are among the deceased.</p>

<p>Preliminary investigations suggest that the pickup truck driver fell asleep at the wheel, causing the vehicle to lose control and crash into the stationary container. Screams and cries erupted at the scene following the accident.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Seven Deceased Identified</h2>



<p>Eleven people, including seven children, have died in the accident so far. Seven have been identified. Police are working to identify the remaining four deceased. Those identified include Purvi (3), Priyanka (25), Daksh (12), Sheela (35), Seema (25), Anshu (26), and Saurabh (35). The identities of the four other deceased are yet to be ascertained.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Injured</h2>



<p>Those admitted to Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur include Lakshya (5), Nitik (6), Rita (30), Nilesh Kumari (22), Priyanka (19), Saurabh (28), Manoj (28), and one other. Ravi Rajput (30), Mamta Rajput (40), and Bhavana Rajput (45) are receiving treatment at Dausa District Hospital.</p>

<p>Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed grief over the horrific road accident. <p>Jaipur: Rajasthan Intelligence Police have arrested a contract manager working at the DRDO guest house in the Chandan Field Firing Range in Jaisalmer after an eight-day-long interrogation. Several shocking revelations have emerged from the accused&#8217;s mobile phone.</p>



<p>Security agencies apprehended Mahendra Prasad from the DRDO guest house in the Chandan Field Firing Range on August 4th. <p><strong>Maharashtra Police Recruitment Update:</strong> Thousands of young people in Maharashtra have had their wait end today. The state cabinet meeting approved a proposal for recruitment to approximately 15,000 positions in the Maharashtra Police Force. <p>Rainfall in Rajasthan in July 2025 has broken records from the past several decades. The state recorded an average rainfall of 285 mm last month, which is 77 per cent higher than the normal average of 161.4 mm. This is the highest rainfall in July since 1956, when 308 mm of rainfall was recorded. Rainfall was also good in 2024. Last year, the state recorded 418 mm of rainfall, while the normal rainfall is considered to be 216 mm. Thus, Rajasthan received more than 60 percent additional rainfall throughout the year, which falls under the category of unusual rainfall. Experts say that this rainfall will have a direct impact on the water table.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Water Level Increased by 6 mm in 2024</h2>



<p>Before the monsoon in 2024, the state&#8217;s average water level was at a depth of 28.83 meters, which has now decreased to 23.01 meters. In other words, the rainfall level in eastern Rajasthan reached 588.7 mm, while the normal average is 303 mm. Meanwhile, western Rajasthan received 273 mm of rainfall, while the normal rainfall is 147 mm. Analysing the four months of the monsoon, 91% rainfall was recorded in June, 101% in July, 221% in August, and 191% in September – meaning every month received above-average rainfall.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Heavy Rainfall Directly Impacts Groundwater Level</h2>



<p>This heavy rainfall has directly impacted the groundwater level. The water level has increased by an average of 5.82 meters. This figure has emerged from the Rajasthan Groundwater Department&#8217;s post-monsoon report 2024. Looking at the July 2025 rainfall, the monsoon seems to be benevolent. According to experts, the July rainfall alone will increase the water level by 3 to 4 mm.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">75% of Groundwater Arrives in 4 Months of Monsoon</h2>



<p>Dr. Vivek Agrawal, who works for water preservation, explains that the monsoon is the primary source of groundwater in India. 75% of groundwater arrives in the four months of the monsoon. Many factors are decisive in influencing groundwater recharge, with the ecology of the area, rocks, and soil playing the most significant role. The structure of urban and rural areas also plays a role. Cement roads being built in cities will hinder the future access of water to underground sources. The lack of a proper drainage system is also a hindrance. Rainfall contributes 67% as a groundwater source, while other sources such as rivers, glaciers, and seas contribute 33%.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Highest Water Level Rise in Sawai Madhopur</h2>



<p>In 2024, the highest increase in the water level was 36.35 meters in Khali Dhai, Sawai Madhopur, while the lowest increase was 0.01 meters in Dhirwas, Churu. At 28% of the stations in western Rajasthan, the water level increased by less than 2 meters, while at 34.2% of the stations, especially in the eastern districts, the water level rose by more than 4 meters.</p>


<p>Rajasthan recorded 418 mm of rainfall last year, compared to the normal rainfall of 216 mm.</p>

<p>If eye floaters are caused by retinal damage related to high blood pressure or diabetes, the doctor may suggest these treatments:</p>



<p><strong>Eye injections –</strong> To reduce retinal inflammation and prevent the formation of new damaged blood vessels.</p>



<p><strong>Laser treatment –</strong> To stop leakage inside the eye.</p>



<p><strong>Surgery (Vitrectomy) –</strong> To remove blood or scar tissue and repair the retina.</p>
