
<p><strong>BPSC TRE 4.0:</strong> A major recruitment process is about to begin once again for teacher appointments in Bihar&#8217;s government schools. The notification for BPSC TRE 4.0 recruitment is expected to be released soon. For the past few months, there has been speculation that the department may soon make an announcement regarding BPSC teacher recruitment. However, no announcement has been made yet. It is now expected that the state&#8217;s education department may release new vacancies for teacher posts in August or September. It is estimated that the recruitment process will be conducted for approximately one lakh posts this time.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">BPSC TRE 4.0: Number of Vacancies</h2>



<p>Of these vacancies, 25,000 posts are likely to be for classes 9 to 12. The remaining vacancies will be for primary and middle schools. The education department has completed the counting of vacancies and is preparing to send it to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) soon. A statement from the Education Minister was also released a few days ago indicating that the recruitment process may be initiated soon.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Over 2.68 Lakh Teachers Appointed in Two Phases</h2>



<p>A total of over 268,000 teachers have been appointed so far in the first two phases of BPSC. The process for the third phase is currently underway, with candidates having until 31 July 2025 to select their districts for posting.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">BPSC: Aiming to Complete the Process Before Elections</h2>



<p>The state government aims, and the state&#8217;s Education Minister has stated, to complete the BPSC TRE 4.0 process before the assembly elections scheduled for October-November. However, given the current situation, there is less likelihood that this process will be completed before the elections. The sooner the notification is released, the sooner the teacher recruitment process will be completed.</p>

<p><strong>Deoghar Bus Accident:</strong> A tragic accident occurred near Jamunia More in Deoghar district, Jharkhand. A bus and a truck collided early this morning. Eighteen Kanwariyas were killed in the accident, while more than 20 others were injured. Jharkhand Police arrived on the scene after receiving information. With the help of locals, the injured were admitted to the hospital.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Nishkant Dubey Expresses Grief</h2>



<p>Locals said the accident was so devastating that the bus was completely wrecked. Nishkant Dubey, the local BJP MP, expressed his grief over the accident. Dubey stated that 18 devotees died due to the collision between the bus and truck during the Kanwar Yatra in the month of Sawan. He prayed that Baba Baidyanath give strength to the families of the deceased.</p>



<p>It should be noted that Deoghar is also known as Baba Dham. Every year during the month of Sawan, lakhs of devotees come to worship Baba Baidyanath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, and offer holy Ganga water. Deoghar is considered the abode of Gods.</p>

<p>Barabanki: A case of alleged assault on two female students at the Upper Primary School, Nagapur Majra Hadaha, in the Tikaitnagar area, has raised serious questions about the educational system in the region. Allegations levelled against a teacher and the headmistress by the students&#8217; families have not only activated the administration but also sparked outrage among the villagers. A police investigation has been launched into this serious incident, while pressure on the school administration continues to mount.</p>



<p>According to the information received, this incident occurred on 25 July. The victims, 14-year-old Pratijna Gupta and 13-year-old Yamini, are Class 6 students at the Upper Primary School in Nagapur Majra Hadaha.<br>According to the families, teacher Ram Yash Gautam was absent from class that day. Pratijna and Yamini went to another teacher to ask for necessary information. When Ram Yash returned to the classroom, he asked the girls for their notebooks and questioned them about why they had gone to another teacher. According to the families, upon receiving their answer, Ram Yash Gautam became enraged and allegedly beat both girls with a cricket bat. Furthermore, it is alleged that he expelled them from the classroom and chased them from the school.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Allegation of Expulsion from School, Forced to Leave with Transfer Certificate</h2>



<p>The frightened girls went home and informed their mothers about the incident. The next day, 26 July, Amrita Devi and Santosh Kumari went to the school and complained to the headmistress, Suman Yadav. They hoped that the headmistress would conduct an impartial investigation and take appropriate action, but the families allege that the headmistress not only sided with the teacher but also misbehaved with the girls and slapped them. After this, the headmistress expelled both girls from the school and gave them their transfer certificates (TCs).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Students and Families Mentally Distressed</h2>



<p>Since the incident, the girls have been under severe mental stress. They are not only afraid to go to school but also feel hurt about their self-respect. The families say that despite being from poor families, they had decided to educate their daughters, but they are shocked by the school&#8217;s behaviour. Amrita Devi says, “We sent our daughter to study, not to be beaten. Who gave the teacher the right to beat children like this with a cricket bat?”<br>Santosh Kumari says, “When we went to the headmistress for justice, she slapped us and expelled the girls from school. Where should we go now?”</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Police Investigation Underway, Teacher Unreachable</h2>



<p>A complaint has been filed at the Tikait Nagar police station. In-charge Inspector Ratanesh Pandey said that separate applications have been received from both women and a police team has been sent to the school to investigate the matter. He said, “The matter has been taken seriously. The police team is collecting evidence from the school. After the investigation, legal action will be taken based on the facts that emerge.” Meanwhile, attempts to contact the teacher, Ram Yash Gautam, were unsuccessful.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Headmistress&#8217;s Version: TCs Given at Parents&#8217; Request</h2>



<p>Headmistress Suman Yadav has called these allegations baseless. She says that the girls&#8217; TCs were given at the request of their parents and that someone has now incited them. She said, “I was not aware of any incident. The girls&#8217; TCs were given at the parents&#8217; request. No such incident has occurred at the school. This may be the result of someone&#8217;s instigation.”</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Growing Outrage in Village, Questions Raised about Education System</h2>



<p>This incident has raised several serious questions about the education system in the village. Villagers say that children are being instilled with a climate of fear in schools, causing them to distance themselves from education. Many parents are now unwilling to send their children to this school. A representative of the village head said, “If this incident is true, it is extremely reprehensible. The safety of children comes first. An impartial investigation should be conducted into this matter and strict action should be taken against the culprits.”</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Violation of Legal and Child Rights</h2>



<p>Under India&#8217;s child rights laws, inflicting corporal punishment on any student is a crime. Under the Right to Education Act 2009, child abuse, corporal punishment, or mental harassment in schools is prohibited. If the allegations are found to be true, a criminal case may also be registered against the teacher and headmistress under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.</p>

<p><strong>Bihar Weather</strong> Heavy rain is expected in 12 districts of Bihar today. The Meteorological Department has urged residents of these districts to leave their homes only if absolutely necessary. According to the Rural Meteorological Centre in Pusa, the monsoon is currently quite strong in South Bihar but weakens as it moves towards North Bihar. This is causing the rainfall.</p>



<p>According to the Meteorological Department, some areas of Siwan, Saran, Patna, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Arwal, Jehanabad, Gaya, Nalanda, Lakhisarai, and Munger districts may experience rainfall. A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rainfall in these areas. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning in one or two places. Winds are also expected to blow at a speed of 30-40 kilometres per hour.</p>

<p>According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is likely in seven districts on Tuesday. Jamui, Banka, Bhagalpur, and Araria districts may experience very heavy rainfall in several places on Tuesday. An orange alert has been issued for these districts by the Meteorological Department. In addition, one or two places in Jamui, Nawada, and Munger districts may experience heavy rainfall. A yellow alert has been issued here by the Meteorological Department. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning in one or two places in the districts of South Bihar.</p>

Nimisha Priya&#39;s Death Sentence Commuted


<p><strong>Nimisha Priya:</strong> Indian nurse Nimisha Priya has received a reprieve. The death sentence imposed on her in Yemen has been completely overturned. The office of the Grand Mufti of India, Kanthapum AP Aboobacker Musliyar, announced this. Musliyar stated that while written confirmation from the Yemeni government is yet to be received, Nimisha&#8217;s death sentence was first stayed and then completely revoked. Nimisha Priya was convicted of murder in March 2018. She was accused of killing her business partner.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Who is Nimisha Priya?</h2>



<p>Nimisha Priya is originally from Palakkad district, Kerala. She belongs to a Christian family. She went to Yemen in 2008 in search of work. There, she met a Yemeni citizen, Talal Abdo Mahdi. They started a clinic together. After some time, their relationship deteriorated.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Death Sentence in Murder Case</h2>



<p>According to reports, Mahdi began to harass Nimisha. He publicly claimed to be her husband. Mahdi also illegally confiscated her passport to prevent her from returning to India. According to Yemeni authorities, in 2017, Nimisha attempted to subdue Mahdi to retrieve her passport, but during this attempt, Mahdi died.</p>



<p>Yemeni police arrested Nimisha in this case. In 2018, a Yemeni court found Nimisha guilty. In 2020, she was sentenced to death. In December 2024, Yemeni President Rashad al-Alimi approved the execution, and in January 2025, Houthi rebel leader Mahdi al-Mashat also confirmed it. Social organisations across Kerala and the country launched international efforts to save Nimisha. Now, the Grand Mufti&#8217;s office has stated that following a high-level meeting in Yemen, Nimisha&#8217;s death sentence has been overturned.</p>

<p>Notorious Bihar criminal Dablu Yadav was killed in an encounter in Uttar Pradesh. Yadav carried a bounty of ₹50,000. He was killed in a joint operation between Bihar Police and the Noida STF in the Simhavli police station area of Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. Over 24 cases were registered against Yadav in various police stations across Bihar. He was also accused of kidnapping and murdering a leader of the ‘Ham Party’.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Encounter of Bihar Criminal in UP</h2>



<p>Police sources say that Bihar Police received intelligence indicating that several notorious criminals from Bihar were planning crimes in Bihar from Uttar Pradesh. Following this information, Bihar Police launched a search operation in conjunction with UP Police. During this operation, on Sunday night, police confronted Dablu Yadav, resulting in an exchange of fire in which he was killed.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">₹50,000 Bounty</h2>



<p>Police say that based on the intelligence, Bihar and UP Police launched an operation to apprehend him. However, upon seeing the police, he opened fire, prompting retaliatory fire from the police, resulting in his death. The deceased criminal hailed from the Gyan Tol Sahebpur Kamal police station area of Begusarai, Bihar. A bounty of ₹50,000 had been announced by Bihar Police for Dablu Yadav.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Accused in 24 Cases, Including Murder of ‘Ham Party’ Leader</h2>



<p>Several sophisticated weapons and ammunition were recovered from Dablu Yadav. In 2025, Yadav abducted the 20-point block president of the ‘Ham Party’ from the Sahebpur Kamal police station area of Begusarai, subsequently murdering him. His body was later recovered from the Diara region. In addition, a total of 24 cases, including murder and attempted murder, kidnapping, and Arms Act violations, were registered against the notorious Dablu Yadav in various police station areas across Bihar.</p>

<p>Developed based on the recommendations of a 10-member AI task force, this roadmap focuses on six key areas: data security, digital infrastructure, capacity building, research and development, startup support, and safe and trustworthy AI. Under this, a state-level AI data repository, ‘AI factories’, and department-specific pilot projects will be launched. Additionally, an ‘AI and Deep Tech Mission’ will be established, which will play a crucial role in developing AI strategies and emerging technologies.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Gujarat’s Already Strong Start in AI</h2>



<p>Gujarat has already undertaken several innovations in the field of AI. Steps such as the establishment of an AI Centre of Excellence in GIFT City, the AI Innovation Challenge, high-performance GPU infrastructure, and an expression of interest for large language models (LLMs) based on Indian languages have been taken. Furthermore, a plan to train 2.5 lakh people in AI is also part of this roadmap.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Announcement at the Chintan Shivir</h2>



<p>Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel (मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र पटेल) announced at the ‘Chintan Shivir’ (चिंतन शिविर) held in Somnath in November 2024 that Gujarat would widely adopt AI in its administrative framework and government departments. Both batsmen not only expertly countered the English bowlers but also smashed centuries, dashing England&#8217;s hopes of clinching the series. The impressive nature of their batting is evident in their unbeaten fifth-wicket partnership of 203 runs from 334 balls. Ravindra Jadeja scored his fifth Test century, while Washington Sundar notched up his first. Ravindra Jadeja also completed 1000 Test runs in England and took 34 wickets. <p>Ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, the Nitish government is swiftly implementing pending schemes. On Sunday, the Rural Development Department approved the construction of 2944 km of roads under the Mukhyamantri Gramien Sadak Unnayan Yojana (MMGSUY). </p>



<p>The department has granted administrative approval for this project, and construction will begin soon. This will bring the total number of Chief Minister&#8217;s rural roads in the state to 824. So far, 445 roads, totaling 2148 km, have been constructed under this scheme.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Connecting Villages Through Development</h2>



<p>This road construction scheme, undertaken by the Bihar government to strengthen rural infrastructure, is not just about developing roads; it has become a vital artery for the economic pulse of villages, a source of employment, and a strong link in social empowerment. These roads have transformed thousands of villages. They now provide essential amenities such as uninterrupted connectivity in all weather, easy access to markets, and convenient travel to schools and health centres.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Increased Employment Opportunities</h2>



<p>The implementation of this scheme has created thousands of local employment opportunities. Agricultural products have gained access to larger markets. Improved accessibility has increased cash flow in the rural economy, directly impacting the income of rural families.<br>The new roads have enabled farmers to transport their produce to markets on time. This ensures that agricultural produce reaches markets in good quality, leading to farmers receiving fair prices. Small businesses, the dairy industry, and rural tourism in rural areas have also benefited.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Every Road is a Line of Development</h2>



<p>Ashok Chaudhary, the Rural Works Minister, stated that the Mukhyamantri Gramien Sadak Unnayan Yojana (MMGSUY) has become a lifeline for villages. This scheme is directly linked to employment, education, health, and economic development. Villagers now have roads connecting them to the mainstream of development. The construction of the remaining roads will also be completed rapidly in the coming months.</p>

Rajasthan to Create 3,500, Rs 250 Crore Green Cover Project Announced


<p>The Rajasthan government has initiated a ₹250 crore green development project to enhance the green cover and protect the environment. </p>



<p>Under this scheme, dedicated individuals committed to environmental protection will be appointed as &#8216;Van Mitra&#8217;. The target is to plant 10 crore saplings this year and 50 crore saplings over the next five years, along with the creation of 3500 Van Mitra positions. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma shared these plans on Sunday at the 76th State-level Van Mahotsav ceremony held at the Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University campus in Madao.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Record of Planting 2.5 Crore Saplings in a Single Day</h2>



<p>CM Bhajanlal stated that during the Van Mahotsav, organised on Hariyali Teej, a record of planting 2.5 crore saplings in a single day will be achieved. At the ceremony, CM Bhajanlal planted a Sindur sapling, launched a Rohida-based brochure, and presented the Amrita Devi Bishnoi Smriti Puraskar and Innovation Award. He also paid homage at the statue of Jagadguru Ramanandacharya on the university campus.</p>

<p>At the event, Chief Minister Bhajanlal also distributed the Amrita Devi Bishnoi Award-2023. The ceremony was attended by Forest Minister Sanjay Sharma, Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant, Jaipur MP Manju Sharma, Bagru MLA and Director General of Police Rajiv Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Ramsevak Das, and other officials.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Abundant Rainfall Due to Divine Grace</h2>



<p>CM Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the Van Mahotsav was being celebrated on Hariyali Teej, a festival dedicated to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. He attributed the abundant rainfall to the blessings of Lord Shiva, mentioning that over half of the state&#8217;s dams had filled up in July, with the Bisalpur dam overflowing for the first time in July.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Plant a Tree in Your Mother&#8217;s Name</h2>



<p>CM Bhajanlal Sharma highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi&#8217;s initiative to plant a tree in the name of one&#8217;s mother. He urged everyone to plant at least one sapling in their mother&#8217;s name and care for it as a family member. He mentioned that inspired by this initiative, the Rajasthan government launched &#8216;Mission Hariyali Rajasthan&#8217; last year during Hariyali Teej.</p>

<p><strong>Laughter Chefs Season 2 Winner:</strong> Laughter Chefs Season 2 has found its winner! The first season was immensely loved by the audience, and the second season also entertained people tremendously. Now, the winner&#8217;s name has been revealed. The pair of Karan Kundrra and Elvish Yadav has won the Season 2 trophy. Ali Goni and Reem Shaikh were the first runners-up. They received diamond stars from the show for being runners-up.</p>

<p>Laughter Chefs Season 2 was hosted by Bharti Singh and Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. Karan Kundrra, the winner, joined Season 2 midway. He replaced Abdu Rozik and formed a pair with Elvish Yadav. From the moment they arrived, they won everyone&#8217;s hearts with their cooking and chemistry. However, the journey to the finale wasn&#8217;t easy for them. Ali and Reem were at the top until the semi-finals, but in the final round, Karan-Elvish turned the tables and won the trophy.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Karan Kundrra Describes His Journey </h2>



<p>Karan Kundrra, the winner of Laughter Chefs Season 2, spoke to a portal. During this conversation, he said, “Season 1 ended abruptly; there was no winner. We didn&#8217;t know what the show would be like. It was a filler show that unexpectedly became a hit. This time there were 16 contestants, so there was some confusion, but I had to be a part of this show again because it&#8217;s like therapy for me. During this show, I stepped into a kitchen for the first time, and I thoroughly enjoyed the cooking process.”</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Contestants from Both Seasons Were Fantastic</h2>



<p>Karan further added, “Shooting the show is much more fun. What you see on screen is only 40-50 minutes, but we shoot for 16 hours, so imagine how much fun we had. I was shooting in Dubai and didn&#8217;t miss a single day. After shooting day and night, I would catch a 3:30 AM flight and come here. I didn&#8217;t even feel tired; the contestants from both seasons were so fantastic.”</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">When was the Exam Conducted?</h2>



<p>The Rajasthan JET 2025 examination was held on 20 June 2025 at various centres across the state. The examination was conducted in a single shift from 11:00 AM to 1:10 PM. After downloading the result, candidates are advised to carefully check the details provided, such as name, roll number, course name, and marks obtained. In case of any discrepancy, contact the relevant authority immediately.</p>

<p><strong>Boeing Plane Engine Failure:</strong> An American Airlines Boeing plane experienced an engine failure and a fire in its landing gear, putting 179 passengers at risk. The sudden fire on board caused panic among the passengers. An American Airlines Boeing 737 Max 8 was preparing for takeoff from Denver International Airport when flames erupted from its wheels. The pilot and cabin crew acted swiftly, evacuating passengers through the emergency exits.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Engine Failure Believed to be the Main Cause</h2>



<p>One passenger sustained injuries during the rescue operation. The aircraft has been sent for investigation following the incident. The flight was scheduled to depart from Denver International Airport on 26 July for Miami, but an emergency landing had to be performed during takeoff. The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has ordered an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the sudden fire in the landing gear. Preliminary investigations suggest engine failure as the primary cause.</p>



<p>Videos of the incident are circulating on social media. Airport staff and local firefighters brought the fire under control. Viral videos show passengers jumping from the emergency exits of the plane on the runway amidst flames and thick smoke.</p>

<p><strong>Jaipur:</strong> The Rajasthan state government is set to present a special gift to Anganwadi workers and helpers on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Approximately 1.25 lakh Anganwadi workers and helpers across the state will receive ₹501 in their accounts before Raksha Bandhan.</p>



<p>Furthermore, they will be able to travel free of charge on Rajasthan Roadways buses for two days. Prior to this, &#8216;Anganwadi Bahan Samman Diwas&#8217; will be celebrated on 5 August. This event, organised by the Women and Child Development Department as part of the &#8216;Suraksha-Samman Parv&#8217;, will be held at the Birla Auditorium, Jaipur, at the state level.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Umbrella to be presented to each worker</h2>



<p>On this day, each Anganwadi worker and helper will also receive an umbrella. Preparations for the state-level event have begun. District-level events will also be organised.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Instructions issued to all Collectors</h2>



<p>The department has issued instructions to all District Collectors in this regard. Approximately 600 Anganwadi workers and helpers will participate in the district-level events, where a live broadcast of the state-level programme will also be shown.</p>
