
<p><strong>Road Accident:</strong> A horrific road accident has been reported from Shivpuri district in Madhya Pradesh, India. At approximately 6:30 AM on Saturday, a speeding minibus carrying pilgrims veered out of control near Amola Ghat under the Suraiya police station area. The bus crossed the divider and collided head-on with an oncoming Matador vehicle. This devastating accident resulted in the tragic deaths of four people, while nine others sustained serious injuries.</p>



<p>The impact of the collision was so severe that both vehicles were extensively damaged, with debris scattered across the road. One person died at the scene, while three others succumbed to their injuries during treatment at a medical college by the time this report was filed. A total of four fatalities have been confirmed so far.</p>

<p>The identities of the deceased have not yet been ascertained. Suraiya police are investigating the incident. It is understood that the pilgrims in the minibus were returning to Gujarat after visiting the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Preliminary reports suggest that the driver fell asleep at the wheel, leading to this tragic accident.</p>

<p>A devastating fire engulfed a four-storey building in the Halasuru Gate police station area of Bengaluru in the early hours of Saturday, resulting in the death of five people from Rajasthan. Four of the victims belonged to the same family. The fire spread so rapidly that no one had a chance to escape.</p>



<p>Police identified the deceased as Madansingh Rajpurohit, his wife Sangita, their son Nitesh, and their daughter Viyan, all residents of Modra village, Jalore, Rajasthan, and Suresh Kumar, son of Mafatlal Khatri, from Bhadraana village, Sanchore. The fire originated from a short circuit in a warehouse on the ground floor of the building and quickly consumed the entire structure. Police and fire brigade vehicles arrived at the scene following the incident and carried out rescue and relief operations.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Family had been living in Bengaluru for 15 years</h2>



<p>According to reports, Madan Singh Rajpurohit and his family had been residing in Bengaluru for 15 years. They were involved in the business of making rolling pins and chaklas. The fire started in their warehouse and rapidly spread throughout the building. Madansingh, his wife, and two children perished in the blaze. Suresh Kumar, a Sanchore resident who owned a crockery shop in the market, also died in the incident. Suresh was sleeping in a warehouse on the second floor of the same building.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">No chance to escape</h2>



<p>The fire broke out around 3 am while everyone was asleep. The intensity of the fire was such that it engulfed the entire building within minutes, leaving no opportunity for escape. The building reportedly continued to burn until Saturday morning. Fire brigade teams worked for several hours to bring the blaze under control. The scene that emerged after the flames subsided was heartbreaking. After considerable effort by the firefighters, the bodies were recovered.</p>

<p>The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has finally apprehended Mohammad Dilshad, a murder accused who had been absconding for 26 years. The 52-year-old Dilshad is accused of murdering a man at his workplace in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, in October 1999. After the murder, he fled to India and has remained a fugitive ever since.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Case Handed Over to CBI in 2022</h2>



<p>The CBI received the case in April 2022 at the request of Saudi Arabian authorities. Investigations revealed that Dilshad was working as a heavy motor mechanic and security guard in Riyadh at the time. Following the murder, he absconded and repeatedly changed passports and documents to conceal his identity. He fraudulently created a new identity and travelled to countries like Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Accused Apprehended in Delhi</h2>



<p>The CBI launched an investigation in his native village in Bijnor district, Uttar Pradesh, and issued a Lookout Circular (LOC) against him. Based on technical evidence and human intelligence, the CBI traced Dilshad’s new passport and issued a second LOC. Finally, on 11 August 2025, he was apprehended at Delhi&#8217;s Indira Gandhi International Airport while arriving in New Delhi via Jeddah from Medina. He was using a forged passport at the time of his arrest.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">CBI Continues Investigation</h2>



<p>Dilshad, currently employed as a heavy vehicle mechanic with a company in Medina, was produced before a court on 14 August 2025 and remanded to judicial custody. The CBI stated that the investigation into this case is still ongoing.</p>

<p><strong>Delhi Humayun Tomb Accident:</strong> On Friday afternoon, as usual, the Dargah Sharif Patte Shah, located near Humayun&#8217;s Tomb in Nizamuddin, was filled with devotees and those seeking blessings. Some were making supplications, others praying for peace. Among them was a retired school teacher praying for her injured son. A young tailor had come hoping to meet the Imam before spending the evening with a friend. A mother of four had also come with her husband.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Laughter Turned to Screams in Moments</h2>



<p>No one imagined that their cheerful gathering would turn into mourning in a matter of minutes. Within moments, the scene transformed into one of screams and a pile of rubble. The wall and roof of the two-room structure of the Dargah Sharif Patte Shah suddenly collapsed. Twelve people were trapped under the rain-soaked stones and bricks. Locals and firefighters spent hours removing the debris. Some lives were saved, but several families were irrevocably broken.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rain Hampers Rescue Efforts</h2>



<p>Local residents reported that the debris, about four feet high, was wet and muddy due to the rain, making excavation extremely difficult. Mukesh Verma, an officer with the Delhi Fire Service, said the amount of debris and the location made the rescue operation particularly challenging. Mukesh Verma told TOI, “Before the fire engines arrived, local people had rescued five people. The rest were pulled out by firefighters and others.” He further added, “The work was difficult because the site was like a jungle where JCBs couldn&#8217;t reach. We had to remove the debris manually to avoid harming anyone trapped underneath.”</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Nadim Shaken by Friend&#8217;s Death</h2>



<p>29-year-old Nadim had gone out on his scooter with his closest friend, 22-year-old Moinuddin, on Friday. They planned to visit the Dargah and meet the Maulvi. Nadim remained outside while Moinuddin went inside. Minutes later, when the wall collapsed, a panicked Nadim peered through the window and called out to his friend, but received no answer. After hours of removing debris, Moinuddin&#8217;s body was recovered.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Moinuddin&#8217;s Wife, Afsana, Devastated</h2>



<p>A heartbroken Nadim said, “We were together since childhood. We even had plans to watch a movie today. Now, only memories remain.” Moinuddin’s 28-year-old wife, Afsana, said, “I was going with him, but due to the rain, he asked me to stay with the children. I don&#8217;t know what to do without him. My children keep calling for him. My five-year-old son attends a government school. I also have a three-year-old daughter. Our family completely depended on Moinuddin.”</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Nadim Recounts Horrifying Eyewitness Account</h2>



<p>Nadim recounted, “We waited outside the Dargah for at least 15 minutes. After the cleaning work in the premises was completed, a small group of people gathered at the entrance and entered the Dargah. My friend Moinuddin was among them. I was a little distance behind, but as soon as Moinuddin reached inside a room, the wall collapsed. I was terrified. I shouted for my friend, but there was no response. I called some of my friends from Zakir Nagar for help. We started searching for him in the rubble, but when we found Moinuddin, we realised we had passed over his body several times.”</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Mother Praying for Son</h2>



<p>56-year-old Anita Saini, a retired teacher from Jangpura, was also trapped in the accident. It was her first visit to the Dargah; she had come to pray for her son, Rishabh, who had recently been injured in an accident. Anita&#8217;s elder son, Shivangi, stood outside the AIIMS Trauma Centre waiting for his mother&#8217;s body. Shivangi said, “Mother had never been to the Dargah before. She went only for us today, but she didn&#8217;t return.” Rishabh, standing nearby, was speechless.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Husband Went to Fetch Water for Wife</h2>



<p>Meanwhile, 39-year-old Mohammad Ashik, a bag maker from Mustafabad, had come to the Dargah with his 33-year-old wife, Rahat Parveen, on Friday. He had managed to get leave from his factory with great difficulty. When Rahat needed water, Ashik went towards the door. Then there was a loud bang, and the wall collapsed. Ashik said, “I couldn&#8217;t think. I just started digging through the rubble. My wife was trapped there. Thankfully, our four children weren&#8217;t with us. Rahat is fighting for her life in the hospital.”</p>


<p>On Friday, a wall collapsed near Humayun&#8217;s Tomb in Delhi, resulting in several people being trapped under the debris. Firefighters and residents rescued around a dozen people, who were then taken to the hospital. </p>

<p><strong>Alaska Summit:</strong> US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin met in Alaska. During this meeting, Putin and Trump answered questions from the media. During the press briefing, a female journalist shouted a question to Putin, asking when the ongoing genocide in Ukraine would finally stop. <p>US President Donald Trump, in an interview with Fox News, said that the conversation with Putin was good. Russia also responded. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that both leaders did not answer journalists&#8217; questions because they had already given detailed statements. Peskov also said that the conversation between the two leaders would help them move forward in finding ceasefire options.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Ending the War: A Difficult Task</h2>



<p>US President Donald Trump said that both Putin and Zelenskyy want him involved in the peace talks for Ukraine. &#8220;I will be there. That&#8217;s what they both want,&#8221; he said. He added that he thought ending the war between Russia and Ukraine would be the easiest, but it is proving to be the most difficult.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Previous Meetings Between Trump and Putin</h2>



<p>Trump and Putin&#8217;s first meeting took place on 7 July 2017 in Hamburg, Germany, during the G20 meeting. Their second meeting was on 10 November 2017 in Vietnam at the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) meeting. The third meeting between the two leaders was on 16 July 2018 in Helsinki, Finland. Trump and Putin&#8217;s fourth meeting took place on 30 November 2018 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, during the G20 summit. Their fifth meeting was on 28 June 2019 at the G20 meeting in Osaka, Japan.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Trump&#8217;s Overconfidence</h2>



<p>Meanwhile, the <em>New York Times</em>, in its report on the Trump-Putin meeting, stated that President Trump has excessive confidence in his negotiating abilities. According to the newspaper, the summit was merely a listening exercise. The newspaper criticised Trump, stating that he considers himself a peacemaker, linked to his often-expressed desire to win the Nobel Peace Prize. He attempted to take credit for minor military skirmishes but failed to deliver on claims of stopping the Russia-Ukrainian war and ending the Hamas-Israel conflict. However, he played a significant role in the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">NATO at Stake</h2>



<p>This summit could negatively impact NATO. Analysts believe that this summit will give Putin more time to attempt another attack in a few months or years, using the gained territory as a launchpad to advance towards Kyiv, potentially resulting in a complete Russian occupation of Ukraine.</p>



<p>Experts say that to prevent this, European nations and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy are continuously demanding security guarantees and pressing for arms supplies from the US. They also want Trump not to make any concessions to Russia regarding NATO deployment in Eastern Europe.</p>

<p>America-Russia Summit: A meeting took place in Alaska between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The meeting lasted approximately 2.45 hours. <p>Responding to media queries, President Trump stated that his meeting with Putin was productive and yielded some progress. The discussion between the two leaders will be shared with NATO allies and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Trump added that the final agreement would depend on their approval and reiterated that no agreement would be reached until everyone was in consensus.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Putin Warns European Leaders</h2>



<p>Putin cautioned Ukrainian and European leaders against interfering in the negotiations. He expressed hope that Ukraine and European countries would understand and refrain from obstructing progress or engaging in behind-the-scenes plots to hinder it. Putin noted that while Trump prioritises his country&#8217;s interests, he also understands Russia&#8217;s concerns. He stressed the importance of addressing the root causes of the conflict to achieve a lasting and sustainable agreement. He further commented that bilateral talks between Russia and the US had derailed after the Cold War, but it was time to rekindle the warmth in the relationship.</p>

<p><strong>RPSC 1st Grade Teacher Vacancy 2025:</strong> Rajasthan has announced a bumper vacancy for teachers. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a recruitment drive for over 3000 posts of School Lecturers (First Grade Teachers). This recruitment will fill 3225 teaching positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website. The last date to apply is 12 September 2025. Teachers for various subjects will be selected through this recruitment, with the highest number of vacancies (710) being for Hindi.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Vacancy Details</h2>



<p>This recruitment drive will fill 3225 posts. This includes 710 Hindi, 430 Commerce, 330 Political Science, 270 Geography, 307 English, and 170 History. There are also 1385 Senior Teacher positions for Mathematics, 1355 for Science, 1305 for English, and 1052 for Hindi.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Eligibility Criteria</h2>



<p>For this recruitment, candidates must possess a postgraduate degree and a B.Ed degree for the First Grade School Lecturer position. Candidates meeting these requirements are eligible to apply. The age limit is 18 to 40 years.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Application Fee</h2>



<p>The application fee is ₹600 for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates. For SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates, the fee is ₹400. Candidate selection will be based on a written examination consisting of two papers. The first paper will be 1 hour and 30 minutes long and carry 150 marks, while the second paper will be 3 hours long and carry 300 marks.</p>
