<p>Mohini Ekadashi 2025: समुद्र मंथन के समय देवता और दानवों के बीच अमृत कलश को लेकर युद्ध हुआ। भगवान विष्णु ने मोहिनी का रूप धारण कर सभी को मोहित कर दिया।</p>


वैशाख शुक्ल पक्ष की मोहिनी एकादशी पर जयपुर स्थित गोविंद देवजी मंदिर में सुबह से भक्तों की कतारें लगना शुरू हो गईं। मंदिर में भीड़ को देखते हुए विशेष इंतजाम किए गए।


ठाकुरजी को लाल सूती पोशाक पहनाई गई और गोचारण लीला के आभूषणों से श्रृंगार कर फलों का भोग अर्पित किया गया। इस दौरान भक्त अपने आराध्य को टकटकी लगाए निहारते नजर आए।  

भगवान विष्णु के मोहिनी स्वरूप की पूजा को समर्पित मोहिनी एकादशी मातंग व हर्षण के विशेष योग में मनाई जा रही है। शहर के मंदिरों में ठाकुरजी की विशेष झांकी सजाई गई हैं। वहीं एकादशी होने से दिन भर दान-पुण्य का दौर चलेगा। 


शहर में गोपीनाथजी, राधा दामोदर जी, चांदनी चौक स्थित मंदिर श्री ब्रजनिधिजी, आनंदकृष्ण बिहारी, गोनेर के जगदीश महाराज, श्री कृष्ण बलराम मंदिर, इस्कॉन व अक्षरधाम सहित अन्य मंदिरों में बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु दर्शन करने पहुंच रहे हैं। 

धर्मग्रंथों के अनुसार, इस एकादशी का व्रत यज्ञ और वैदिक कर्मकांड से भी अधिक पुण्य प्रदान करने वाला माना गया है। भगवान विष्णु ने आज ही के दिन मोहिनी अवतार धारण किया था, इसलिए इस व्रत का नाम मोहिनी एकादशी रखा गया। 

गोनेर स्थित लक्ष्मी जगदीश मंदिर में सुबह से ही श्रद्धालुओं का तांता लगा हुआ है। दूर दराज के भक्त दर्शन करने पहुंच रहे हैं।

India-Pakistan Attack: Pakistan Targets 26 Civilian Areas, ADC Rajouri Among Three Killed


<p>Tensions along the India-Pakistan border continue to escalate. Following Thursday&#8217;s events, Pakistan launched multiple drone attacks late Friday night, targeting several populated Indian areas. In addition, shelling from Pakistan resulted in the death of Raj Kumar Thapa, Additional District Commissioner (ADC) of Rajouri, and two other civilians.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Shell Hits Thapa&#8217;s Residence</h2>



<p>According to a report in ‘The Indian Express’, heavy shelling occurred overnight in Rajouri. A shell struck Thapa&#8217;s residence in the DC colony, critically injuring him. He succumbed to his injuries hours later. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed his condolences following Thapa&#8217;s death on Saturday morning.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Drone Attacks Across Multiple Locations</h2>



<p>The Ministry of Defence reported on Friday that drone activity was observed in 26 locations near the International Border and Line of Control (LOC). The ministry stated: “These locations include Baramula, Srinagar, Awantipora, Nagrota, Jammu, Firozpur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Lalgarh Jatta, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bhuj, Kutch&#8217;s Kuvarbet and Lakhi Nala.” The Ministry of Defence also clarified that many of these drones were suspected to be weaponised, posing a serious threat to civilian populations and military installations. An attack by one drone targeted a local residential area, injuring a family member.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Air Threats Monitored</h2>



<p>The statement added: “The Indian Armed Forces are on high alert, monitoring all such aerial threats and neutralising them through counter-drone systems. Citizens, especially those residing in border areas, are advised to remain indoors, restrict unnecessary movement, and strictly adhere to safety guidelines issued by local authorities. While there is no need to panic, vigilance and precaution are essential.”</p>



<p>On Friday evening, sounds of explosions were heard in the Srinagar airport area, Samba, Jammu city, Baramula, Pathankot, Firozpur, and Barmer. Power outages (blackouts) were also observed in border areas on Friday.</p>

Experts believe that China is closely monitoring this conflict to gain insights into India&#8217;s military capabilities, missile systems, air defence, and combat strategies.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Monitoring from Land and Sea</h2>



<p>Alexander Neill, a Singapore-based security analyst, states that this is a rare intelligence opportunity near China&#8217;s borders, involving a potential strategic rival (India). China&#8217;s military capabilities have now reached a level where it can monitor India&#8217;s every move in real-time – be it along the Himalayan border, the movements of the Indian Navy in the Indian Ocean, or through space-based surveillance.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Chinese Presence in Pakistani Fighter Jets</h2>



<p>Reports suggest that Pakistan, using Chinese-made J-10 fighter jets, targeted at least two Indian military aircraft. One of these is reportedly a Rafale fighter jet, although India has not yet confirmed any aircraft damage. This presents a rare opportunity for countries worldwide to conduct in-depth analysis of fighter jets, missiles, and pilot tactics used in real combat.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">China&#8217;s Satellite Strength</h2>



<p>According to the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), China now possesses 267 satellites, of which 115 are for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, and 81 are for military electronic data collection. This number significantly surpasses that of regional rivals, particularly India, and is second only to the United States.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Focus on Missile Systems</h2>



<p>China is particularly interested in India&#8217;s missile systems, such as the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile – jointly developed by India and Russia. This missile has not yet been used in combat, so China will attempt to meticulously track every data point if and when it is deployed.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Chinese Activity at Sea</h2>



<p>During an Indian Navy exercise in the Arabian Sea on 1 May, approximately 224 Chinese fishing vessels were observed within 120 nautical miles of India. According to open-source intelligence tracker Damien Symon, these vessels may be engaged in intelligence gathering, not solely fishing.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Deep Ties with Pakistan</h2>



<p>Pakistan has acknowledged its all-weather strategic partnership with China. The military relationship between Pakistan&#8217;s Ministry of Defence and China is extremely deep. Experts believe that Chinese military advisors present in Pakistan can easily provide the PLA (People&#8217;s Liberation Army) with information related to India&#8217;s activities.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">India&#8217;s Response</h2>



<p>There has been no official comment from India on this issue. However, Vikram Doraiswami, India&#8217;s top diplomat in Britain, stated that the China-Pakistan relationship is not a cause for concern for India. He added that China needs to maintain relations with all its neighbours, including India.</p>



<p>The India-Pakistan conflict not only provides China with a strategic advantage but also offers it an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of India&#8217;s military strategy, technology, and response capabilities. From borders to satellites and the sea, China is increasing surveillance on all fronts – and its partnership with Pakistan is strengthening this process.</p>

<p>Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur-Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Budaun, Jalaun, and Jhansi may experience winds reaching speeds of up to 50 km per hour.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Minimal Impact on Temperature</h2>



<p>Regarding the state&#8217;s temperature, no significant change in the maximum temperature is expected in the next 24 hours. Thereafter, a gradual increase of 4-6 degrees is anticipated. Similarly, no major change in the minimum temperature is expected in the next 72 hours. A gradual increase of 2-4 degrees is likely after that. On 11 May, the weather in western UP may be clear. In eastern UP, there may be showers accompanied by thunderstorms in some areas.</p>


<p>Light rain is expected on 10th and 11th May, with the possibility of strong winds and lightning in some areas.</p>

<p><strong>MP News:</strong> The number of individuals earning over ₹1 crore annually in Madhya Pradesh (MP) stands at 8,666. According to the Income Tax Department&#8217;s figures for the assessment year 2023-24, MP ranks fourth among 37 states in the list of taxpayers earning over ₹1 crore. Maharashtra leads with 1,24,800 individuals in this income bracket. Lakshadweep is at the bottom of the list with only one taxpayer in this category. Nationally, 2,16,000 people earn over ₹1 crore annually. </p>

<p>CA Pankaj Sharma stated that the significant number of crorepati taxpayers filing income tax returns from MP demonstrates the growing tax awareness among the state&#8217;s residents. They are honestly paying taxes according to their income. The expanding scope of businesses, the service sector, startups, and professionals has increased the number of high-income earners in the state. This has given new momentum to the state&#8217;s economic situation.</p>

<p>The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has postponed the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 for a week due to escalating tensions along the India-Pakistan border and nearby areas.</p>



<p>Today’s match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Lucknow has been called off. On Thursday, the match between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings in Dharamshala was also halted midway.</p>



<p>The decision was taken during an emergency meeting held on Friday.</p>



<p>A match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamshala on Thursday had to be stopped after 10.1 overs due to aerial and drone attacks from Pakistan. The attacks resulted in blackouts in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur – all areas near Dharamshala. This heightened uncertainty surrounding the tournament.</p>



<p>The decision was made by the IPL Governing Council following representations from several franchisees, who shared concerns expressed by players. Broadcasters, sponsors and fans were also considered during discussions. While the BCCI expressed confidence in the country’s armed forces, it said the suspension was in the best interest of all stakeholders.</p>



<p>In a statement, the Board said it stood united with the Government of India, the Armed Forces, and the citizens. It saluted the courage and sacrifice of the armed forces involved in Operation Sindoor, who are responding to the recent terrorist attack and Pakistan’s military aggression.</p>



<p>&#8220;While cricket remains a national passion, there is nothing greater than the Nation and its sovereignty, integrity, and security,&#8221; the statement read. The BCCI affirmed its commitment to decisions that uphold the nation’s interest above all else.</p>



<p>The suspension follows Thursday night’s incident at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium, which led to the cancellation of the match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC). The IPL had reached its closing stages, with the final originally set for May 25.</p>
