<p>Over 200 construction sites have been equipped with high-tech drones this past week. These drones provide live updates on the progress of work at each site. This technology is being used to improve the quality of construction work and provide ongoing monitoring.</p>

<p>The Corporation is also preparing a proposal for the government to identify projects that can be undertaken by the Corporation, ensuring consistent quality and a steady flow of work. Senior management is also emphasising increased participation in construction projects. This will accelerate the progress of government projects and improve quality by consolidating work with a single agency. The benefits will accrue to both the government and the public. Corporation officials are contacting various departments to facilitate this.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Drone Surveillance to Compensate for Manpower Shortage</h2>



<p>Managing Director of the Corporation, Siby Chakravarty, stated that they are currently facing a significant shortage of manpower, and the existing workforce lacks complete technical proficiency. Efforts are underway to train them. Until this shortage is addressed, drones are being used to supplement site monitoring. The Corporation claims that the status of ongoing projects within the state is better compared to other agencies. The Corporation undertakes construction and infrastructural work for government agencies and undertakings.</p>

<p><strong>Jaipur News:</strong> On Tuesday, Punjab Police took the accused involved in a plot to carry out blasts in Delhi and Gwalior by Independence Day to the Behram area of Punjab to recover weapons. All the accused were arrested on Sunday by Rajasthan&#8217;s Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) from Jaipur and Niwai in Tonk. On Tuesday morning, Sonu alias Kali Chir, one of the accused in the grenade blast in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, pointed a pistol at the Punjab Police. In retaliation, police shot the accused in the leg. The injured Sonu was admitted to hospital.</p>



<p>Following this, a grenade, pistol and magazine were recovered on Sonu&#8217;s indication. According to the Punjab Police, the six arrested accused, including three minors, were in contact with the Pakistan-based ISI-backed terrorist organisation, Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Bribery for Blasts</h2>



<p>Zeeshan Akhtar, a handler based in Canada, had promised the accused ₹5.5 lakh for carrying out grenade blasts in Punjab. After the incident, the money was not paid, and it was stated that for carrying out blasts in Delhi and Gwalior, a further ₹5.5 lakh would be transferred to each account, totalling ₹10.10 lakh.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rajasthan AGTF Team in Punjab; Further Investigation in Rajasthan</h2>



<p>A team led by Inspector Ram Singh of the Rajasthan AGTF arrived in Punjab on Tuesday. No case was registered against the accused arrested in Jaipur and Niwai in Rajasthan, but the team is now gathering information about their contacts in Rajasthan. Meanwhile, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav has posted about the entire matter on social media platform X, mentioning the Rajasthan Police&#8217;s involvement.</p>

<p>Dausa Road Accident: A horrific road accident in Dausa district, Rajasthan, early Wednesday morning, claimed the lives of 11 pilgrims. Twelve others sustained serious injuries, nine of whom were referred from Dausa District Hospital to Jaipur. The remaining three injured are receiving treatment in Dausa.</p>



<p>According to police, the accident occurred around 3 am near the Basdi bypass bridge on the Dausa-Manoharpur highway. A pickup truck carrying pilgrims from Uttar Pradesh (UP), returning after visiting Khatushyamji, collided with a container parked outside a hotel. Ten people in the pickup truck died at the scene. A woman succumbed to her injuries later during treatment at Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">9 Seriously Injured Referred to Jaipur</h2>



<p>Of the 12 injured, nine were referred to Jaipur. One woman among them died during treatment at Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur. The other three injured are receiving treatment at Dausa District Hospital. District Collector Devendra Kumar and SP Sagar Rana arrived at the scene upon receiving news of the incident and enquired about the well-being of the injured.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Pickup Truck Passengers Returning from Khatushyamji</h2>



<p>The pickup truck passengers were travelling from Khatushyamji to Asroli in Eta, Uttar Pradesh. The horrific road accident occurred near the Basdi bypass bridge on the Dausa-Manoharpur highway. Seven children and three women are among the deceased.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Screams and Cries After the Accident</h2>



<p>Preliminary investigations suggest that the pickup truck driver fell asleep at the wheel, causing the vehicle to lose control and crash into the stationary container. Screams and cries erupted at the scene following the accident.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Seven Deceased Identified</h2>



<p>Eleven people, including seven children, have died in the accident so far. Seven have been identified. Police are working to identify the remaining four deceased. Those identified include Purvi (3), Priyanka (25), Daksh (12), Sheela (35), Seema (25), Anshu (26), and Saurabh (35). The identities of the four other deceased are yet to be ascertained.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Injured</h2>



<p>Those admitted to Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur include Lakshya (5), Nitik (6), Rita (30), Nilesh Kumari (22), Priyanka (19), Saurabh (28), Manoj (28), and one other. Ravi Rajput (30), Mamta Rajput (40), and Bhavana Rajput (45) are receiving treatment at Dausa District Hospital.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">CM Expresses Grief Over Horrific Road Accident</h2>



<p>Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed grief over the horrific road accident. CM Bhajanlal wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that the news of the loss of life in the horrific road accident in Dausa is extremely saddening. The district administration has been instructed to ensure prompt and proper treatment for the injured. May God grant peace to the departed souls and speedy recovery to the injured.</p>

<p><strong>Sagar Dhankar Murder Case:</strong> Olympic medal-winning wrestler Sushil Kumar has been dealt a blow by the country&#8217;s Supreme Court. The apex court has cancelled Sushil Kumar&#8217;s bail in the murder case of junior wrestler Sagar Dhankar. The Supreme Court, while cancelling the bail, ordered Sushil Kumar to surrender within a week. A case of murder of wrestler Sagar Dhankar was registered against Sushil Kumar. After spending four years in jail, Sushil was granted bail by the Delhi High Court. The High Court released Sushil Kumar on a bond of ₹50,000 and a surety of the same amount.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Dhankar&#8217;s Father Demanded Cancellation of Bail</h2>



<p>After the Delhi High Court granted bail to Sushil Kumar in the murder case, Sagar Dhankar&#8217;s father appealed to the Supreme Court, demanding the cancellation of bail. Following this, the apex court took this decision. Sagar Dhankar&#8217;s father claims that pressure was exerted on witnesses earlier by the accused Sushil Kumar, and now again pressure is being put on his family to settle the matter.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Attempt to Influence Witnesses</h2>



<p>Josphine Tuli, the lawyer for Sagar Dhankar&#8217;s father Ashok Dhankar, stated that the Supreme Court has cancelled the bail granted to Sushil by the Delhi High Court. He has been given one week to surrender. Josphine Tuli stated that whenever Sushil Kumar was out on interim bail, he misused it and attempted to influence witnesses. We have sufficient evidence against Sushil Kumar, on the basis of which his bail has been cancelled.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Entire Case</h2>



<p>Sushil Kumar is accused of a fatal attack on junior wrestler Sagar Dhankar and his friends in the parking lot of Chhatrasal Stadium, Delhi, on 4 May 2021, over a property dispute. Sagar succumbed to his injuries during treatment. According to the chargesheet filed by the police, a clash occurred between two groups of wrestlers in the parking area of Chhatrasal Stadium around 1 am on 4 May 2021. Firing also took place. Five wrestlers were injured, including Sagar (23), Sonu (37), Amit Kumar (27), and two others. Sagar, the son of a head constable in the Delhi Police, died during treatment at the hospital.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Arrest After Video Emerged</h2>



<p>A video also surfaced showing Sushil Kumar, along with his friends, beating the junior wrestler with a hockey stick. The video was made by Sushil Kumar himself. Sushil Kumar was arrested from the Mundka metro station on 23 May 2021 following the incident. The Delhi Police arrested Sushil and sent him to Rohini Court. He was sent to jail in October 2021.</p>

<p>Jaipur: Rajasthan Intelligence Police have arrested a contract manager working at the DRDO guest house in the Chandan Field Firing Range in Jaisalmer after an eight-day-long interrogation. Several shocking revelations have emerged from the accused&#8217;s mobile phone.</p>



<p>Security agencies apprehended Mahendra Prasad from the DRDO guest house in the Chandan Field Firing Range on August 4th. The DRDO guest house manager was suspected of sharing information related to the Indian Army with Pakistan. After questioning in Jaisalmer, Mahendra Prasad was brought to Jaipur. Following an eight-day-long interrogation and several revelations from his mobile phone, security agencies arrested him on Tuesday.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sharing Army Information with Pakistani Handler</h2>



<p>According to IG Intelligence Dr. Vishnukant Gupta, Mahendra Prasad, a resident of Paliyan, Almora, Uttarakhand, had been working at the DRDO guest house for a long time and was in contact with a Pakistani handler through social media. Lured by money, he shared information related to the Indian Army and strategic information.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Espionage Evidence Found During Mobile Phone Examination</h2>



<p>The investigation revealed that the accused was sending information related to missile and other weapons testing at the firing range, as well as details of DRDO scientists and military officers visiting the range. Interrogation at the Jaipur headquarters and mobile phone examination yielded evidence related to espionage. The accused was taken into custody from Jaisalmer a few days ago.</p>

<p><strong>Maharashtra Police Recruitment Update:</strong> Thousands of young people in Maharashtra have had their wait end today. The state cabinet meeting approved a proposal for recruitment to approximately 15,000 positions in the Maharashtra Police Force. This decision was taken at the cabinet meeting (Maharashtra Cabinet Meeting) held today under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.</p>



<p>The Fadnavis cabinet also green-lit several other important proposals in this meeting. The Food and Civil Supplies Department approved an increase in the margin for ration shopkeepers in the state, and the distribution of grains to ration card holders under the Public Distribution System will continue. Meanwhile, the Aviation Department decided to provide ‘viability gap funding’ for air travel between Solapur-Pune-Mumbai. The Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance has relaxed the guarantor conditions in various loan schemes and decided to extend the period of government guarantee to five years.</p>
