Jodhpur: Five Foreign Women Apprehended in Flat; FIR Against Flat Owner


<p>Jodhpur: Boranada police station police apprehended a young man along with five foreign women in a flat in Parshwanath City on the Pal-Sangaria bypass on Thursday. One woman, who was pregnant, was admitted to AIIMS. An FIR has been registered against the flat owner for keeping foreign women without submitting the C-form.</p>



<p>According to SHO Shakil Ahmad, information was received about some foreign women and a young man staying at a ground floor flat in a block of Parshwanath City. Suspecting suspicious activities, people gathered outside the flat. Frightened, the women locked the flat from inside. Police, along with female constables, arrived at the scene.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Five Foreign Women Found Inside the Flat</h2>



<p>Upon opening the flat, five foreign women and a young man were found inside. Three of the women were from Thailand, one from Tanzania, and one from Kenya. Investigation revealed that the visas of three women had expired, while the visas of two were found to be valid.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">One Woman Pregnant, Admitted to AIIMS</h2>



<p>One woman was found to be pregnant. She was admitted to AIIMS with the help of a female constable. The four other foreign women were sent to the One Stop Sakhi Centre. Rahul, a resident of Udaliyawas who worked at the flat, was arrested on charges of disturbing the peace.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Case Against Flat Owner</h2>



<p>The investigation revealed that a woman from Delhi and a man named Yogesh had arranged accommodation for the foreign women in this flat. No agreement, verification, or C-form was submitted to the flat owner regarding them. An FIR has been registered against the flat owner under the Foreigners Act.</p>

Weather Update:Red Alert Issued for Gujarat, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and Other States Amidst Monsoon&#39;s Advance


<p>The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of the potential for flash floods in at least 11 districts of Jharkhand. The meteorological department stated that the situation will be critical in the low-lying areas of the state. The IMD also indicated a risk of flash floods in four districts of the neighbouring state of Odisha, in addition to the 11 districts of Jharkhand.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Red Alert Issued in Jharkhand</h2>



<p>The IMD has issued a red alert (Red Alert) for Bokaro, Hazaribagh, Khunti, Ramgarh, Latehar, Gumla, Ranchi, Saraikela, Simdega, and West Singhbhum districts of Jharkhand, anticipating heavy rainfall. A heavy rainfall warning has also been issued for 13 districts in eastern Uttar Pradesh (UP).</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Flash Flood Guidance Bulletin Issued</h2>



<p>The Indian Meteorological Department has sent a National Flood Guidance Bulletin to all regional meteorological centres: Mumbai IMD, Bhubaneswar IMD, Ranchi IMD, and Ahmedabad IMD. The department has alerted Odisha and adjacent areas, as well as the plains of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Gujarat region, Konkan, and Goa meteorological centres. The meteorological department informed that reservoirs in western Rajasthan and Assam-Meghalaya are full. The IMD stated that up to 200 millimetres of rain could fall in several parts of the country in the next 24 hours.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Waterlogging in Homes and Shops</h2>



<p>Heavy rainfall in Ahmedabad, Vapi, and Rajkot in Gujarat has led to waterlogging on roads, in homes, and shops. Rivers in Savarkundla and Rajula are overflowing. A red alert has been issued for Navsari, Valsad, Dang, Daman, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Meanwhile, a landslide occurred on the Kedarnath pilgrimage route in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand, due to heavy rain, resulting in two deaths and three injuries.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Delhi&#8217;s AQI Improves Due to Rainfall</h2>



<p>Delhi is experiencing intermittent rainfall due to pre-monsoon activity. The rain has provided relief from the heat, and the air quality index has also improved. Delhi&#8217;s AQI has dropped to 81. The cleanest air previously recorded was on 29 September 2024, with an AQI of 76.</p>

<p>A major question has been raised regarding the privacy of a five-star hotel in Jaipur, the capital city. On Wednesday night, a video of a couple staying in a room at a renowned hotel went viral on social media. Shockingly, the video wasn&#8217;t recorded by a hidden camera, but rather by an individual standing on the street outside the hotel using a regular mobile phone camera.</p>



<p>The incident came to light when, around 10 pm, a room&#8217;s window offered a clear view into the hotel room. A couple inside were engaged in private moments, and the room&#8217;s window had no curtains. Several people standing on the street recorded this and uploaded it to social media. The video quickly went viral, attracting a crowd to the scene. Traffic was disrupted, requiring intervention from the hotel staff.</p>



<p>Following the incident, a debate has erupted on social media regarding who is at fault: the couple for not drawing the curtains, the hotel administration for not providing any safety measures for the transparent window, or the individuals who recorded someone&#8217;s private life without permission and shared it online.</p>



<p>The hotel has yet to release an official statement. No FIR has been filed so far, and the couple&#8217;s identity remains undisclosed. However, this case certainly raises serious questions about hotel room privacy, digital ethics, and the misuse of social media.</p>

Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway: Delhi now just two-and-a-half to three hours away, cars to zoom at 120 kmph on new route


<p>Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway: The 67-kilometre Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway, connecting the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to Jaipur, is complete, and the road safety audit is also finished. Now, the only question is when this expressway will open and bring Delhi closer to Jaipur. Even NHAI officials are unable to provide a definite answer.</p>



<p>The Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway was scheduled for completion in November last year, but due to various reasons, the work was delayed by eight months, finally concluding in early June. Trials commenced before the road safety audit, and after the trials were completed, the road safety audit was also finished. However, NHAI officials are now awaiting the green signal from Delhi.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Traffic Jams Due to Expressway Delay</h2>



<p>Since the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway opened, Jaipur&#8217;s traffic has been diverted. Many vehicles travelling from Jaipur to Delhi now use the expressway via Dausa. This has led to traffic jams in Kanota, immediately outside Jaipur. The situation has become so severe that Kanota intersection experiences jams lasting 10 to 20 minutes. The situation worsens on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Additionally, occasional jams occur at various points between Jaipur and Dausa.</p>

<p>Cars will be able to travel at a speed of 120 kilometres per hour. Travelling on the fully controlled expressway from Jaipur to Sohna and Gurgaon will not only alleviate traffic congestion but also eliminate the need for frequent speed adjustments. The Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway is a four-lane highway, while the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is an eight-lane highway. A six-lane expressway, approximately 20 kilometres long, connects Sohna and Gurgaon.</p>

<p>UP Rain Alert: The monsoon has fully arrived in Uttar Pradesh. Rain, intermittent over the past three days across various parts of the state, has provided relief from the heat. The meteorological department has issued a heavy to very heavy rainfall alert for several districts over the next 24 to 48 hours. It is anticipated that the monsoon may intensify between 5 and 6 August in eastern and western UP.</p>



<p><strong>Yellow alert for 31 districts, thunderstorm warning for 21</strong></p>



<p>According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast centre, the monsoon has entered UP via Sonbhadra. Clouds have now settled over eastern and central UP. Rain, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, is predicted for 21 districts, including the capital Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, and Unnao. A yellow alert has been issued for 31 districts, including Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Kanpur Dehat, Ambedkar Nagar, Agra, and Mainpuri.</p>



<p><strong>Heavy rainfall expected in these districts</strong></p>



<p>Heavy rainfall is anticipated in Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Bhadohi (Ravindas Nagar), Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Kanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Bareilly, Hamirpur, and Mahoba districts.</p>



<p><strong>Heavy rainfall in western UP until 22 June</strong></p>



<p>Heavy rainfall is likely to continue in several districts of western Uttar Pradesh, including Agra, until 22 June. This will lead to a drop in temperature and provide relief from the heat and humidity.</p>



<p><strong>Caused by trough line and low-pressure area</strong></p>



<p>According to the meteorological department, a trough line exists in the lower troposphere, extending from Punjab and northern parts of Madhya Pradesh to southern Assam. Additionally, an upper atmospheric pressure area is active towards north-eastern Jharkhand and West Bengal, which will move northwestward in the next 24 hours. This is the reason for the likelihood of heavy rainfall in Uttar Pradesh.</p>



<p><strong>Relief from heat, but caution necessary</strong></p>



<p>While the rain has provided relief from the intense heat and humidity, the meteorological department has advised people to remain cautious about lightning, waterlogging, and strong winds.</p>


<p>The meteorological department has issued a heavy to very heavy rainfall alert for several districts in Uttar Pradesh for the next 24 to 48 hours. It is anticipated that the monsoon will be particularly intense in eastern and western UP between 5 and 6 August.</p>

New research from Britain reveals that individuals who consume junk food alongside a healthy diet face a higher risk of heart disease and stroke. The research indicates that such individuals derive no benefit from healthy eating, as junk food negates its effects.</p>

<p>This research, conducted at King&#8217;s College London, closely monitored the dietary habits of over 850 individuals. Many of these individuals consumed healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds daily. However, a significant flaw was their high consumption of chocolate, biscuits, cakes, and crisps. The result was that all the benefits of healthy eating were negated, and these individuals faced a significantly increased risk of heart disease.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Increased Blood Sugar Levels and Stroke Risk</h2>



<p>The research showed that individuals who consumed only fruits, nuts, and granola for breakfast experienced health benefits. However, those who consumed biscuits, cakes, and pies for breakfast experienced a significant increase in blood sugar levels. Their metabolism deteriorated, and obesity increased rapidly. Furthermore, these individuals exhibited a higher risk of heart attack and stroke compared to others.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Dietary Plan in Britain</h2>



<p>Following this study, the British government is planning to remove biscuits, cakes, and other processed snacks from its food menus. The research found that approximately 26 percent of people consumed unhealthy items alongside healthy food. This is why their health did not improve, and they frequently fell ill. This report, published in the European Journal of Nutrition, has forced people to consider that healthy eating alone is not sufficient; controlling snacks is also essential.</p>

<p><strong>Udaipur News:</strong> A doctor died due to electrocution in Udaipur district, Rajasthan. The incident occurred in the hostel of Ravindranath Tagore Medical College.</p>



<p>The accident happened late Wednesday night while the doctor was filling water in a cooler. As he was filling the cooler, he received an electric shock and was severely burnt. He was rushed to MB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.</p>

<p>The deceased doctor, Ravi Sharma, was posted at the Kherwara Community Health Centre. He had been staying with his cousin, Prashant, at the PG hostel located in Chetak Circle of the medical college for two to three days.</p>

<p>The deceased doctor, Ravi Sharma, was about to join MB Hospital. His cousin, Prashant, was on night duty. Ravi was alone in the room when the accident occurred. After receiving the shock, he screamed loudly and then collapsed unconscious.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Life could not be saved even after CPR</h2>



<p>Upon learning of the accident, other resident doctors from nearby rooms rushed to help. Immediate CPR was administered to Ravi Sharma, but his life could not be saved. He was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.</p>

<p>The Indian Navy has released the results for the Agniveer SSR and MR recruitment exam 2025 on its official website, <a href="https://agniveernavy.cdac.in" target="_blank" rel="noopener">agniveernavy.cdac.in</a>. Candidates who appeared for the exam between 22 May and 26 May 2025 can now view their results using their login credentials.</p>



<p>Based on the results, eligible candidates will be called for a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and medical examination, commencing from 30 June 2025.</p>

<p>In Gudiya village, Mirzamurad police station area, Kachhwa Road, Varanasi district, panic ensued during a 13th-day ceremony (Terahvi) when a four-year-old girl fell into a well. A young man jumped in to save her, followed by another young man in a desperate attempt to rescue both. When all three failed to emerge for a considerable time, alarm spread through the village, gathering a large crowd.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Two Youths Who Jumped Into Well to Save Child Succumb to Toxic Gas</h2>



<p>Police, NDRF (National Disaster Response Force), and DCP Akash Patel arrived on the scene. After a strenuous effort of one and a half hours, the police and villagers managed to pull out all three. Chaos erupted at the scene. All three were rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared them dead. News of their deaths led to an uproar among villagers who surrounded the NDRF, preventing them from leaving the village. Following reports of the commotion and protests, police forces from several stations arrived in Gudiya village.</p>



<p>According to reports, a 13th-day feast was held at the home in Gudiya village following the death of Rishikesh’s grandmother on Thursday. During this time, a child fell into a well while playing. Those present informed the family. Rishikesh, present in the crowd, jumped into the well to save the child. When he didn&#8217;t resurface after a considerable time, Ramkesh Bind also jumped in to help, but neither emerged. Villagers called out to them, but receiving no response, informed the police. The NDRF team arrived and rescued them one by one. Rishikesh sustained a head injury. All were taken to the hospital by ambulance, but doctors pronounced them dead.</p>


<p>A five-year-old girl fell into a well in Gudiya village on Thursday evening. Two young men jumped in to save her, but all three lost their lives.</p>
