नगर परिषद ने पिछले दिनों इलाके में अतिक्रमण के दायरे में आने वाले भवनों पर क्रॉस के निशान भी लगा दिए थे।

नगर परिषद की ओर से लगभग 200 भवन व दुकान मालिकों को नोटिस जारी किए हैं।

मास्टर प्लान के हिसाब से शहर की बसावट को नियोजित करने की दिशा में शहरी सरकार ने बड़ा कदम आगे बढ़ाया है।

पहले चरण में राधाकिशनपुरा अंडरपास से लेकर वंदेमातरम चौक तक की सड़क की मास्टर प्लान के हिसाब से 40 फिट करने की तैयारी कर ली है।

कुछ लोगों ने अपने स्तर पर ही अतिक्रमण हटाना शुरू कर दिया है।

रायपुर. छत्तीसगढ़ क्रिकेट प्रीमियर लीग के दूसरे संस्करण का फाइनल मुकाबला बारिश के कारण नहीं खेला जा सका। इस कारण फाइनल में जगह बनाने वाली रायपुर रायनोंज और राजनांदगांव पैंथर्स की टीमों को संयुक्त विजेता घोषित कर दिया गया। सीसीपीएल-2 के फाइनल के लिए आयोजक छत्तीसगढ़ स्टेट क्रिकेट संघ (सीएससीएस) ने कोई रिजर्व डे नहीं रखा था।

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">US Embassy Issues Security Alert</h2>



The US embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, issued a security alert. The embassy advised all US citizens in Iraq to avoid locations frequented by foreigners, and any large gatherings or crowded areas. The embassy stated that foreign terrorist organisations may attack in Iraq.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Iran Wanted to Assassinate President Trump: Netanyahu</h2>



Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Iran sought to assassinate US President Donald Trump. He said Iran viewed Trump as a threat to its nuclear programme. Trump never showed leniency towards Iran; he did what was right and prevented Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. This is why Iran considers him their number one enemy. Netanyahu claimed that through the Axis of Resistance, Iran planned to assassinate Trump twice, but their plans failed.



Netanyahu added that Trump withdrew from a flawed agreement with Iran, eliminated IRGC commander Qassem Soleimani, and made it abundantly clear that Iran should not possess nuclear weapons. He was extremely firm; therefore, he is enemy number one for Iran.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sometimes You Have to Fight Before You Can Talk</h2>



US President Donald Trump expressed hope that Israel and Iran could reach an agreement, but added that sometimes countries have to fight first. We will continue to support Israel. He further stated that Iran should agree to a nuclear deal.

Mohsen Rezai, a member of Iran’s National Security Council, stated that Pakistan has assured Iran that it would launch a nuclear attack on Israel if Israel were to attack Iran with nuclear weapons. Meanwhile, witnessing the escalating military conflict, the United States has pledged full support to Israel, stating that it will continue to support Israel fully. French President Emmanuel Macron has voiced his support for Israel, and the United States has deployed its naval fleet to the Middle East.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs stated that the Indian embassy in Tehran is continuously monitoring the situation. The embassy is in constant contact with Indian students in Iran to ensure their safety and is relocating them to safer locations. The embassy is also in contact with the Iranian government.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Drone Factory Discovered Within Iran</h2>



According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, the Iranian military has discovered a three-story Israeli drone factory within the country. Iranian officials have stated that more such factories may exist. Israel used these factories to target Iranian nuclear and military installations last Friday. Iran has told mediating Qatar and Oman that there will be no ceasefire as long as Israel continues its attacks.

The meteorological department has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms and rain in Delhi for six days. On Sunday, Delhi&#8217;s maximum temperature was recorded at 36°C and the minimum temperature at 20°C. A further drop is expected in the coming days.

A red alert has been issued for Bihar and Rajasthan in view of heavy rain and strong winds. North Bihar, in particular, has been warned of heavy rain and lightning from 15 to 20 June. Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh are likely to experience heavy rain with lightning and strong winds from 16 to 19 June. Widespread rainfall is expected in Kerala and Mahe.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Northeast and East India Also Affected</h2>



An alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rainfall in Guwahati for the next two to three days. The Assam State Disaster Management Authority has warned of waterlogging, traffic disruption, and the possibility of landslides in some vulnerable areas. Furthermore, heavy rain and lightning are possible in Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Sikkim.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Heavy Rainfall Predicted for Konkan, Maharashtra, Gujarat</h2>



Between 18 and 21 June, there is a likelihood of thunderstorms in parts of Konkan, Goa, central Maharashtra, and Gujarat. Due to the active monsoon, waterlogging and traffic disruption are possible in these areas.

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has announced good news for Rajasthan. The central government has approved ₹1914.71 crore for 40 road projects in the state. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for this.



This amount has been sanctioned for 40 state road projects spanning 1000 kilometres. These include 31 major district roads, 8 state highways, and one other district road.



Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced on social media that ₹1914.71 crore has been approved for 40 state road projects totalling 1000.90 kilometres under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF).



These projects primarily involve strengthening and widening sections of various state roads (31 major district roads, 8 state highways, and 1 other district road). This will improve road connectivity and ensure smoother travel across different parts of Rajasthan.

A helicopter crashed near Gaurikund in Kedarnath, resulting in the death of seven people, including the pilot and a child. The accident occurred around 5:30 AM today.



The helicopter, belonging to Aryan Aviation Company, crashed into a forest above Gauri Mai Khadk. Preliminary investigations suggest inclement weather as the cause of the accident.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Women Report the Crash</h2>



Nepali women working in the fields above Gaurikund reported the helicopter crash. Nodal Officer Rahul Chaubey and District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Singh Rajwar confirmed the crash. Rescue operations have commenced.



Media reports indicate seven fatalities, including a couple and their 23-month-old child. Two of the deceased are reportedly from Uttarakhand: Vinod Negi and Vikram Singh. Vikram Singh Rawat was an employee of BKTC. The deceased are identified as Rajkumar Jaiswal, Shraddha Jaiswal, Kashi Jaiswal, Tushti Singh, Vinod, Vikram Singh, and Captain Rajiv. The Jaiswal family is reportedly from Maharashtra.

The Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) reported that a helicopter en route from Shri Kedarnath Dham to Guptkashi crashed near Gaurikund around 5:20 AM. Passengers on board hailed from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. NDRF and SDRF teams have been deployed for rescue and relief efforts.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami Expresses Grief</h2>



Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami wrote on &#8216;X&#8217;, “Received the very sad news of the helicopter accident in Rudraprayag district. SDRF, local administration and other rescue teams are engaged in relief and rescue operations. I pray to Baba Kedar for the safety of all passengers.”



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Highway Emergency Landing</h2>



Earlier, on June 7th, a helicopter crash occurred in the Kedarghati region. Due to a technical malfunction, the helicopter had to make an emergency landing on a road. Fortunately, all five passengers and the pilot were safe during the emergency landing.

However, this time, there are persistent easterly winds carrying moisture from the Bay of Bengal. This has not only increased humidity but also pushed the heat index to record levels.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">14 June: Possibility of thunderstorms and rain in several districts</h2>



Amidst the scorching heat in Uttar Pradesh, there is some welcome news. According to the Meteorological Department, thunderstorms and rain are likely in the districts of Moradabad, Amroha, Sambhal, Bijnor, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Pilibhit, Bareilly, Rampur, Budaun, Sambhal, Etawah, Aligarh, and Hathras on 14 June. Strong winds with speeds of 30-40 km/h are also expected during this period.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">15 June onwards: Indications of weather change across the state</h2>



From 15 June onwards, gusty winds, drizzle, and strong winds may begin in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh. Light rain and thunderstorms are predicted in approximately 33 districts, including Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Ballia, Basti, Siddharthnagar, and Deoria. This is expected to lead to a drop in temperature.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Lucknow: Temperature crosses 42 degrees, signs of relief</h2>



In Lucknow, the capital city, strong winds on Friday provided some respite from the heat, although the heat index remained high due to humidity. The maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 41.9 degrees and the minimum at 30.5 degrees, significantly higher than normal. On Saturday, the temperature is likely to remain around 41 degrees amidst cloudy conditions.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Kanpur: Heat index reaches 64, situation in the red zone</h2>



In Kanpur, the moisture from the Bay of Bengal has exacerbated the heat. Due to persistent easterly winds and high temperatures, the heat index reached 64 on Friday. The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert for Saturday. If the clouds don&#8217;t bring rain, the chances of relief are low.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Jhansi, Prayagraj, Hamirpur: Night temperatures remain a challenge</h2>



Nights remain restless in the southern districts of the state. Night temperatures above 32 degrees Celsius were recorded in Jhansi, Hamirpur, and Mathura. The night temperature at Kanpur Air Force Station was 32.4 degrees, the highest for this season.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Humidity increases discomfort, record-breaking humidity levels along with temperature</h2>



Not only is the temperature high, but the humidity levels are also record-breaking. Maximum humidity was recorded at 63% and minimum at 38%, making the humid heat even more oppressive.

The IMD has issued an alert for thunderstorms and rain until 17 June. According to meteorologists, there is currently no major weather system active to provide widespread relief. However, the movement of a western disturbance has begun, increasing the likelihood of rain after 17 June.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Moradabad: Relief from cloudy conditions and rain</h2>



In Moradabad, cloudy conditions and light rain on Friday provided some relief from the heat. 4.2 mm of rainfall was recorded, and the maximum temperature was 38.4 degrees. The presence of clouds and strong winds on Thursday and Friday brought some coolness to the atmosphere. However, the night temperature was 29.2 degrees, 3.2 degrees above normal.



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Cloudy conditions for the next three days</h2>



According to the Meteorological Department, cloudy conditions will prevail for the next three days, with intermittent light drizzle. If a low-pressure area forms in the Bay of Bengal, the thunderstorm activity may intensify, and relief from the heat may be experienced.
