
<p><strong>Sonam Raghuvanshi:</strong> New revelations are emerging daily in the wedding, honeymoon, and murder case. Shocking information related to the case has now come to light. Sonam Raghuvanshi, the main accused in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, crossed all limits of shame for her lover. After the wedding, Sonam devised a plan to keep Raja at a distance. According to the investigating officers, Sonam imposed a condition on Raja for having physical relations with him, which Raja had to accept. Sonam told Raja that she would consummate their marriage through physical intimacy only after performing puja (worship) at the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati.</p>

Later, the accused killed Raja near Weisaidong Falls and threw his body into a deep ravine.</p>

<p>Shillong DIG David NR Mark stated that five accused, including Sonam, have been arrested. They were produced in court, and a request for 10 days of police remand was made, but 8 days were granted. Interrogation of all is underway. In initial questioning, all the accused, including Sonam, have confessed to the crime. However, a blame game is still ongoing, with each accusing the other of being the mastermind. A recreation of the crime scene will be conducted if necessary.</p>

<p><strong>Heavy Rain Alert:</strong> The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall across 15 states. Due to the active South-West Monsoon, many states may experience strong winds, thunderstorms, and heavy rain for the next few days. According to the IMD, this weather system could cause significant damage across various parts of the country, prompting advisories for people to remain vigilant.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">States on High Alert for Heavy Rainfall</h2>



<p>According to the latest IMD update, heavy to very heavy rainfall, with extremely heavy rainfall in some areas, is predicted for Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Goa, and the Konkan region of Maharashtra in South India. Heavy rainfall and the risk of flooding are anticipated in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura in North-East India. Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds (50-70 km/h) is expected in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal in North India. Central India, including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, may also experience heavy rain and thunderstorms. Moderate to heavy rainfall is likely in parts of Gujarat in Western India as the monsoon progresses.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Monsoon Status</h2>



<p>According to the IMD, the South-West Monsoon will remain active over South Peninsular India and Konkan-Goa until 16 June 2025. In the next 24 hours, it is expected to advance into parts of Gujarat, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha. Subsequently, the monsoon is likely to reach West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and eastern Uttar Pradesh within the next three days.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Impact of the Weather</h2>



<p>Coastal and Ghat areas of Kerala and Karnataka are expected to receive over 20 cm of rainfall, increasing the risk of landslides and floods. Mumbai and surrounding areas in Maharashtra are at risk of heavy rainfall and waterlogging until 15-18 June. Flooding has already affected 1.64 lakh people in Manipur, and landslides are increasing in Mizoram. A yellow alert has been issued for Delhi-NCR with light to moderate rainfall expected until 18 June.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">IMD Advice</h2>



<p>In view of the heavy rainfall, the IMD advises people to avoid going near rivers and streams, to take precautions against lightning strikes, and to remain vigilant in landslide-prone areas. People are warned against venturing into the sea along the coasts of Kerala, Karnataka, and Goa. Preparations for relief and rescue operations should be in place in flood and landslide-affected areas.</p>

<p><strong>MP Weather:</strong> The monsoon entered Madhya Pradesh a day later than expected, on Monday, 14 June, via Burhanpur and Khandwa. Monsoon clouds passed over Khandwa, Barwani, and Burhanpur. According to Dr. Divya Surendran, the forecast in-charge at the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will cover the entire state by 26 June, reaching Gwalior-Chambal region last. During this period, Madhya Pradesh will experience spells of thunderstorms and rain. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is also possible in several districts. A thunderstorm and rain alert has been issued for more than 45 districts of MP on Tuesday. <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Rain expected here on 20 June</h2>



<p>There is an alert for very heavy rainfall in Katni on 20 June. Heavy rainfall is also possible in Umaria, Shahdol, Dindori, Khandwa, and Jhabua. The weather will remain clear in Neemuch, Mandsaur, Agar-Malwa, Rajgarh, Shajapur, and Sehore. Thunderstorms and rain will continue in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur, and other districts of the state.</p>


<p>MP Weather: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in several districts of the state. An alert for thunderstorms and rain has been issued for more than 45 districts of MP on Tuesday as well. The Meteorological Department has also issued a rain warning for several districts of the state on 18, 19 and 20 June.</p>

<p>Police in Sonipat district, Haryana, have made a shocking revelation in the brutal murder of 24-year-old Haryanvi model Sheetal, alias Simmi Chaudhary. Her boyfriend, Sunil, has been arrested and confessed to the crime during preliminary questioning. The murder is believed to be the result of a strained relationship stemming from a romantic entanglement.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Full Story</h2>



<p>Sheetal Chaudhary, a resident of Khalira Majra, Panipat, who recently lived with her sister Neha in Satkaratar Colony, worked as a model in the Haryanvi music industry. On June 14th, she went to Ahar village for the shooting of a Haryanvi album but never returned home. Her sister Neha filed a missing person report at Matlauda police station in Panipat on June 15th.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Body Recovered from River</h2>



<p>Late Sunday night, Sheetal&#8217;s body was recovered from the Reliance Canal between Khanda and Jarothi villages in Sonipat&#8217;s Kharkhauda area. Injuries and a cut throat indicated murder. She was identified by tattoos on her hand and chest.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Suspicion Falls on Boyfriend, Sunil, and Arrest</h2>



<p>The investigation revealed that Sheetal was last seen with her boyfriend, Sunil, a married man from Israna village. They had been in a relationship for five years, meeting at a hotel in Karnal where Sheetal worked. Sheetal was also married but separated from her husband; she has a child who lives with his father.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sister Reports Assault</h2>



<p>On the night of June 14th, Sheetal video-called her sister Neha, reporting that Sunil had assaulted her, injuring her throat. Her phone then went off. Police suspected Sunil of murder and staging a car accident in the canal to destroy evidence. Sunil claimed his car accidentally fell into the canal, but later confessed to the murder during interrogation.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Reason for the Murder</h2>



<p>According to police, Sheetal decided to end the relationship because Sunil was married and pressuring her to marry him. This led to increased tension between them. The investigation revealed that in a fit of rage, Sunil stabbed Sheetal multiple times; the eighth stab pierced her trachea, causing her death. Sheetal fought for her life but was unsuccessful.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Police Action</h2>



<p>Sonipat police arrested Sunil near Park Hospital and produced him in court on Tuesday for remand. During the remand, police are investigating to recover the murder weapon and explore other aspects of the case. Sheetal&#8217;s body was sent to Khanpur Medical College for post-mortem as forensic experts were unavailable in Sonipat. The body was later handed over to her family.</p>

<p>Sheetal&#8217;s sister Neha stated that Sunil had previously harassed Sheetal, and several complaints had been filed against him. This incident has sent shockwaves through the Haryanvi music industry and the local community. <p><strong>Census 2027:</strong> The Indian government announced on Monday, 16 June 2025, that the country&#8217;s next census will be conducted in 2027. This will be the first census since 2011 and will include a caste census for the first time since 1931. The notification was issued by the Registrar General and Census Commissioner, Mritunjay Kumar Narayan, under the Ministry of Home Affairs.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Census to be Conducted in Two Phases</h2>



<p>The notification stated that the reference date for the census will be 1 March 2027. However, for the snow-bound and inaccessible areas of Ladakh and Himalayan states (such as Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand), the reference date will be midnight on 1 October 2026.</p>

<p>Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the census preparations, emphasizing the importance of data security. Stringent security measures will be ensured during data collection, transmission, and storage to prevent any misuse of information.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Long-Standing Demand for Caste Census</h2>



<p>There has been a long-standing demand for a caste census at both social and political levels. The 2027 census will provide the country with official caste data for the first time, enabling the formulation of better policies and schemes for various sections of society.</p>


<p>The Union Home Ministry on Monday issued a gazette notification announcing that the Census will be conducted in 2027. This ethnic census will be conducted in two phases. The process will commence on 1 October 2026.</p>

India's 2027 Census to Proceed in Two Phases


<p>Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has announced good news for Rajasthan. The central government has approved ₹1914.71 crore for 40 road projects in the state. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for this.</p>



<p>This amount has been sanctioned for 40 state road projects spanning 1000 kilometres. These include 31 major district roads, 8 state highways, and one other district road.</p>



<p>Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, announced on social media that ₹1914.71 crore has been approved for 40 state road projects totalling 1000.90 kilometres under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF).</p>



<p>These projects primarily involve strengthening and widening sections of various state roads (31 major district roads, 8 state highways, and 1 other district road). This will improve road connectivity and ensure smoother travel across different parts of Rajasthan.</p>

<p>MP News: Amidst a rising concern over obesity and hypertension among children and women, the central government has directed the Madhya Pradesh government to regulate the sugar and salt content in the nutritious diet provided to children and pregnant women. The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has written to the Chief Secretaries and Women and Child Development Secretaries of the states in this regard. The ministry has warned about the presence of excessive salt, sugar, and artificial colours in the take-home rations and food provided to children and pregnant women through Anganwadis.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Central Ministry&#8217;s Letter Creates Surprise</h2>



<p>The letter from the ministry states that in some instances, the snacks and meals provided to children, pregnant women, and lactating mothers have been found to contain more salt, sugar, and artificial colours than the prescribed limits. It urges that the amount of salt, sugar, and artificial colours in their diet be controlled in accordance with World Health Organisation (WHO) standards. Earlier, the government had issued instructions to control the amount of sugar in school children&#8217;s meals.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">What Should Be the Amount of Sugar and Salt?</h2>



<p>Citing WHO regulations, the Centre has urged the state that sugar should constitute 10 percent of the total nutrients and salt 5 per cent of the total energy in the food of children and adults. On the other hand, according to the National Institute of Nutrition, there should be no added sugar in the food of children under two years of age. Instead of sugar, jaggery should be used for sweetness in their food, and that too only up to 5 per cent of the total nutrients.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">These Diseases Are Caused by Excess Salt and Sugar</h2>



<p>Under the Madhya Pradesh government&#8217;s nutritional diet scheme, approximately 80 lakh pregnant women, lactating mothers, and children aged six months to six years receive nutritious food from Anganwadi centres. Excessive salt and sugar in their food can lead to hypertension, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and dental problems.</p>


<p>MP News: The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has written to the Chief Secretaries and Secretaries of Women and Child Development of the states in this regard. Instructions have also been issued to the Madhya Pradesh government. A major reason has come to light.</p>

<p>इंदौर के ट्रांसपोर्ट कारोबारी राजा रघुवंशी की हत्या उसकी पत्नी सोनम ने अपने कथित प्रेमी व अन्य के साथ मिलकर की थी। कुछ इसी तरह की सनसनीखेज वारदात खेरली कस्बे में भी हुई है। फर्क सिर्फ इतना है कि सोनम ने शादी के बाद पति को अपने कथित प्रेमी व उसके साथियों के साथ मिलकर मारा, तो वहीं खेरली की अनिता राज नाम ने उस युवक की हत्या करवा दी, जिसके साथ वह लिव-इन-रिलेशनशिप में रह रही थी। अनिता अपने पति को पहले ही छोड़ चुकी थी। लिव-इन-रिलेशनशिप में रहते हुए उसके एक अन्य युवक से अवैध संबंध बन गए। इन अवैध संबंधों में बाधा बने युवक की अनिता ने अपने कथित प्रेमी व उसके चार अन्य दोस्तों के साथ गला दबाकर हत्या कर दी। </p>
<p>खेरली. कस्बे के बाइपास रोड पर वार्ड नंबर 19 में गत 8 जून को मिले शव की गुत्थी पुलिस ने सुलझा ली है। मृतक का नाम मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू जाटव पुत्र शिवचरण जाटव है। मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू अपनी पत्नी व दो बच्चों को छोडकऱ अनिता राज नाम की महिला के साथ लिव-इन-रिलेशनशिप में रहता था। अनिता के एक अन्य युवक काशी से भी अवैध संबंध थे। मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू इससे खफा रहता था। इसी बात पर अनिता ने अपने कथित प्रेमी काशी और उसके चार दोस्तों के साथ मिलकर मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू की गला दबाकर हत्या कर दी। पुलिस ने अनिता, उसके कथित प्रेमी काशी व अन्य आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। तीन आरोपी फरार हैं।<br />
खेरली थाना अधिकारी धीरेंद्र गुर्जर ने बताया कि मृतक मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू की दो पत्नियां हैं। इनमें एक के साथ उसकी बकायदा शादी हुई थी और दूसरी कथित पत्नी अनिता राज के साथ वह लिव-इन में रहता था।<br />
अनिता ने 7 जून की रात अपने कथित प्रेमी काशी के साथ मिलकर मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू की हत्या कर दी। दो लाख रुपए की सुपारी देकर काशी ने अपने चार साथियों को हत्या करने के लिए बुलाया था। मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू का शव 8 जून को संदिग्ध अवस्था में मिला था।<br />
पहले मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू के घर में किराए पर रहती थी अनिता: अनिता का पहला विवाह भरतपुर जिले के भुसावर क्षेत्र के सेंदली गांव में हुआ था। विवाह के कुछ समय बाद वह पति को खेरली ले आई और पति को अपने पक्ष में कर सास-ससुर एवं अन्य परिजनों पर मुकदमा दर्ज करा दिया। उसका पति फलों की ठेली लगाता था। यहां अनिता की मुलाकात मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू से हुई और अनिता व उसके पति मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू के घर किराए पर रहने आ गए। इसी दौरान मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू के अनिता के साथ अवैध संबंध बन गए। टोका-टाकी करने पर अनिता ने अपने पति को छोड़ दिया।<br />
मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू ने उसे दूसरा घर दिला दिया और उसके साथ रहने लगा। इस बीच अनिता के काशी के साथ अवैध संबंध बन गए और वह उसके साथ रहना चाहती थी। मृतक वीरू के पहली पत्नी से दो एवं आरोपी अनिता से एक संतान है।<br />
क्यों की हत्या?<br />
मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू जाटव पुत्र शिवचरण जाटव की दूसरी पत्नी अनिता राज के अवैध संबंध काशी पुत्र फूलचंद प्रजापत के साथ थे। कथित प्रेम प्रसंग का यह सिलसिला करीब चार वर्षों से चल रहा था। करीब एक साल पहले इसकी भनक मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू जाटव को लगी, तो उसने पत्नी अनिता और उसके कथित प्रेमी काशी से मारपीट की थी। तभी से अनिता और काशी उससे रंजिश रखते थे।<br />
आरोपियों ने ऐसे दिया हत्या की वारदात को अंजाम</p>
<p>काशी ने 2 लाख रुपए की सुपारी देकर अपने चार साथियों को बुलाया और 7 जून की रात शराब पार्टी में मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू की हत्या की साजिश रची। उसी रात काशी ने अनिता से कहा कि तुम देर रात घर तक दरवाजा खुला रखना। रात करीब दो बजे काशी अपने चार साथियों के साथ बाइक से मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू के घर पहुंचा और अनिता के साथ मिलकर मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू की गला दबाकर हत्या कर दी। रात करीब तीन बजे काशी अपने साथियों के साथ वहां से चला गया। जाते समय काशी ने अनिता से कहा कि तुम लोगों के सामने ऐसा व्यवहार करना, जैसे तुमको इस घटना के बारे में पता नहीं हो। अनिता ने ऐसा ही किया। उसने मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू की पहली पत्नी के पुत्र को फोन कर कहा कि तुम्हारे पिता बीमार हैं। इसके बाद अनिता व अन्य परिजन मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू को अस्पताल ले गए, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। काशी भी अस्पताल पहुंचा और दुख प्रकट करते हुए शव को जल्दी घर ले जाने की बात करने लगा। मृतक मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू के भाई ने हत्या की आशंका जताते हुए शव को घर ले जाने से इनकार कर दिया और पुलिस को सूचना दे दी। इस बीच काशी वहां से चला गया। इस संबंध में पुलिस ने मृतक मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू के भाई की रिपोर्ट पर हत्या का मामला दर्ज करते हुए मानङ्क्षसह उर्फ वीरू की पत्नी अनिता, उसके कथित प्रेमी काशी व अन्य आरोपी बृजेश को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। तीन अन्य आरोपी अभी फरार हैं।</p>
